Was good but, didn’t live up to the hype.

Thoughts:

☀️ it's a typical story about teens who fall in love with each other over a series of summers. There’s nothing really unique about this book, nothing really makes it stand out apart from other books like it.

☀️ But FYI it is an adult book there is adult content.

☀️ as teens do, both of them ruin the relationship resulting in them not speaking to each other for 12 years.

☀️ he tries to do the whole I don’t wanna ruin our friendship thing, so she finds herself another boyfriend, he finds himself jealous, they finally get together.

☀️ Through the college transition he quits calling her he quits communicating he goes long periods of time contacting her. ☀️So guess what she feels alone and does something stupid, she tells him she wants to take a break, he find out the stupid thing she did and doesn’t wanna talk to her anymore.

☀️ as adults they reconcile
