Romance/Mystery book. Sara is starting over during her first year at college and is starting over. She had childhood trauma that caused her to be antisocial, but in college she’s going to try. She meets Scott and is goo goo over him, but she’s trying to be realistic. He’s a player and she is trying to figure out if she’s an exception to his usual behavior. Meanwhile she is getting threats from the other women.
Thoughts:
🥂Book is very well written, and author has an attention for detail. I’m not sure I needed to know exactly what Scott was eating at lunch, how much he ate, or how he was stuffing his face with fries the whole time. It makes it seem like Sara is over analyzing everything he does.
🥂If you like drama this book is for you, it’s full of it.
🥂very romantic, its a fast paced romance between her and Scott.
🥂Sara is smart and cautious with her relationship, but can sometimes be naive and too trusting. Sometimes it works out for her but others it leads to problems.
🥂Adult topics: there is underage drinking, sexual content, sexual assault/rape, graphic descriptions.
🥂FYI it seems that this book will be part of a series, but I’m not sure it needs to be. What I mean is, I’m not a fan of series for the sake of series. Yes, some stories need to be, but I don’t think this one is.
