Book Review: Girl in Ice by Erica Ferencik

Thrilling read. A thriller and a little bit Sci-fi.

Thoughts:

🔬 this was my second book in a row where the main character was a twin. Val’s twin Brother who is a climate scientist dies mysteriously in Greenland.

🔬 His partner allegedly finds a young girl frozen in ice, and was thawed out alive. The problem is no one understands what the young girl is saying.

🔬 Val who is a linguist and decides that she’s going to fly out Greenland to meet this young girl and hopefully learn to communicate with her.

🔬 this book talks about what it’s like to be the least favorite child.

🔬 it also talks about what it’s like to live with anxiety.
