Murder Mystery:
This book is number 5 in a series, but can be read as a stand alone. I started with #4 The Dark Hours and was able read and enjoy that book without reading the others. This book seems to be more from Harry’s POV this time rather from Renee.
Renee is now in charge of a cold case unit and has asked Harry team up to solve them. They group together to solve several cases, sometimes using science that was not available at the time. Harry’s main reason for taking the job is to solve a case that has haunted him since he was unable to solve it before he retired.
The previous book had a bit of romance in it, but not so with this book. There are several cases that the team is working on at the same time, but the author does a good job keeping them separate and keeping the reader from mixing them.
