Paranormal Romance book.
Firstly, what even is on the cover? Is it a dragon? Is something on fire? Maybe a heart? Actually I think it’s a rose. I choose this book from seeing quite a few reels on instagram. I wouldn’t have choose it from the cover. It’s so dark that I could not tell what it was, until I read the book and was thinking what could the cover be. It’s even worse when looking at it on the kindle.
I love the romance between Lex and Maven I enjoy a good faded meets romance, and the spicy scenes were there. I rated it 3 1/2 stars I wish the plot would’ve been rounded at the end. I felt like there were a lot of unanswered questions, and everything was just left up in the air. Seems like this was done for the sake of making a series. I certainly didn’t feel like the story was over.
For someone whose been asleep for 121 years Alex sure knows all about modern day life. Just saying… there is no teaching or learning curve.
Also, the bad guy Brendan I don’t understand why if he lived in the same town with her, her whole life why he just then started pursuing her it really doesn’t make a lot of sense if he was playing the long game like he mentioned, wouldn’t he have somehow been around prior to her purchasing this estate?
