A really good dark romance
Jenna’s wealthy parents die and left everything to her brother. She now has to support herself and get herself through college. She has some savings, but it is running low. She decides to get a job at a “dance” club to support herself. While there she meets Ian a handsome regular at the club, who she is insanely attracted to. But he has a lot of secrets and might not be exactly who she thinks he is.
I loved the relationship between the two MCs. She is confident, bold, and just knows what she wants. He is just the right amount of possessive and dominant. The spicy scenes were 🔥, and while there were quite a bit of them it didn’t overpower the plot of the story.
I did feel that the story went on for a little longer than it should have, but I know that this was to draw readers into the story of the next couple in the series. What happened to her going to college? At some point in the book it is just never mentioned again. Like she forgot that she was getting an education, and she is just focusing on being Ian’s girlfriend.
