I found the shifter romance in Kindle unlimited. This is book one in the series, and I don’t think it was good enough for me to dedicate any more time to the series, so I probably won’t be reading the rest of them.
I do enjoy a good werewolf romance especially when I’m feeling a little stuck. I think I like them because they’re a little bit predictable, and they typically have similar things that happen in them.
For me, this one was just kind of meh. I didn’t feel like it was moving a little too slow and not a whole lot happened in the first book. Typically books have a main plot, which end at the end of the series, and each book has a bit of a subplot. This book seem to just cut off the main plot for the sake of having a second book.
I didn’t like the way men were very misogynistic in this book it’s a little dystopian. I feel like it was taken too far, and it made the male characters almost unlikable. No one was kind, or considerate or thoughtful of anyone else.
I realize sometimes I rate series harshly, because I feel like lately authors have been just making series for the sake of having more than one book.
