Nanny for the Neighbors by Lily Gold

Romance: Reverse Harem, Surprise baby (without the pregnancy trope), dynamic characters, Steamy romance

I loved that all the characters had their own faults and problems. The author did a fantastic job of building strong relationships between the characters, and gradually progressing the relationship. This book made me cry with some of the problems the characters face.

Beth grew up in the foster care system and has never had a family or anyone that has truly loved her except her foster brother Benny. She’s too afraid to tell Benny she loves him because everyone she loves leaves her. One night she gets a knock on her door from her upstairs neighbor who says he needs her help. When she gets to his apartment she sees him and his two roommates desperate for her to help sooth a crying baby. Feelings develop and each character has to face their own issues with relationship.
