Wow! This was certainly a thrilling read. I loved it oh so much.
Kit knows all too well what it’s like to be accused of a crime and found guilty in the court of public opinion. When one of her patients dies in her care the whole town including her own dad think that she did it. Due to this black mark on her record she hasn’t been able to find a job since. When a position opens up taking care of Lenora Hope, the infamous woman suspected of murdering 3 of her family members some 50 years ago, Kit is forced to take the position. Hopes End looks amazing from a distance but once inside she finds that the whole place is falling apart. Built on a cliff it is slowly falling into the sea. Lenora isn’t a threat to anyone anymore. She can not talk or move anything except her left arm. She tells Kit that she wants to tell her everything that happened the night of the murder, but the more that is uncovered the more dangerous her stay there gets.
There is just so much going on, so many twists and turns. One second you suspect this person and the next its someone else. As the story unravels more and more secrets are revealed. It was unpredictable and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
